Potential mothers warned to prepare for death
It has been announced by a British lord to prepare for death if you are expecting a child. It is believed by the Church that all sin committed by the parents is channeled towards the baby and frequently will either pass or kill the mother during the process of labour.
Midwives swear not to practise magic
We all know the saying "The better the witch; the better the midwife", well, The Church has now taken a stand against these vital civilians ans is now ordering that all that deliver babies for a living swear on oath not to practise magic. A licence must be paid for through the bishop to retain their ability to perform emergency baptisms.
